2024 Baseball Director Position OPEN!!!
Baseball Director job scrip below;
-Make important decisions on how the baseball program is run
-Splitting up teams (if need be)
-Set a practice and field schedule for each team
-Select coaches for each team
-Being the point person for the AYC coaches and parents (questions, concerns about the league, team, registration etc).
-Serve as the AYC representative in the Interboro League
-Attend league meetings throughout the year (usually 2 or 3)
-Take care of paying any leagues fees
-Track registration and collect payment when necessary.
-Making sure teams have umpire fees ahead of games
-Maintain playing fields
-Dragging infields on a regular basis (showing coaches how to use the Cub so they can do it as well).
-Prepping fields for game play (showing coaches how to line the fields etc)
-Keeping fields and Hopely Complex clean and free of litter
-Maintain and, if need be, fix structures like dugouts, benches, fences, backstops etc
Aldan Youth Club is solely dependent on volunteers to keep these programs active. Throughout each season we need volunteers for every sport, banquet events, fundraising events, snack bar shifts, and more. With your help, we can continue to provide these programs for our youth.
